FAQ

  • How can online treatment help me?

I teach you simple, safe and effective massage techniques that you can do on yourself with your own hands or with some simple props.

No anatomy knowledge is required. I guide you through the areas of massage so it’s a hands-on learning experience.

This is coupled with corrective exercises to help speed up the process.

If you have further concerns you can always get approval from another health professional before we start.

  • How long and how much will it cost to fully get over my issue?

My clinical experience has shown most people with specific concerns need 3-8 hours of treatment over 1-3 months for an issue to be resolved to a point where maintenance with corrective exercises or a 45-minute massage every 1-3 months is enough for them to function through life confidently.

We’ll take it step-by-step. For online coaching/treatment, the total cost depends on how much guidance you require once you have learned the technique and know the areas that need to be treated.

The problem happens when the individual expects results with only 1, 2, or 5 sessions with a Physio or Chiro that only have 5-10 minutes of manual therapy.

When you have something that’s a challenge for me (this doesn’t happen often), I’ll consult with my mentors. I’m trained to take a multidiscipline approach, so rest assured, you will get the best care with perspectives from many angles and I’ll be able to point you in the right direction if my treatment is not the best choice for you.

  • Do you accept private health insurance?

If you have Private Health Insurance in Australia we can organise part of your money back if your insurance company covers remedial treatment.

Each provider and contract is differnet, you’ll have to check with your provider what you’ll get back.

I do require some extra personal and medical information in order to provide the reciept for rebate.

  • I already see a Physio/Chiro/Osteo

Race cars need multiple mechanics to run their best, so why shouldn’t you?

I’m trained to take a multidiscipline approach, so you’ll get the best care as my perspective and treatment complement other professionals’ work. All so you can feel your optimum.

  • I have a physical concern that means I shouldn't get a massage

Massage is safe. A good therapist will use our clinical reasoning to tailor the massage to you.

In the Western world, most medical professionals don’t know massage can help or they’ve only heard bad stories. I’ve helped people with botched surgeries, all sorts of chronic spine/back/joint issues, and digestive issues. I’ve even helped patients with advanced diabetes live life better.

Client Results

  • Fiona, late 40s. Had surgery for her lower back injury 7 years ago which resulted in more chronic pain, she rates her bad days as 8/10 pain and on good days as 4/10 pain. on the 5th week of treatment (totalling 4 hours) she tells me how she was able to start lowering her painkiller dosage after the second week and now she’s lowered it by half. She followed the guidance of her pain specialist in order to safely do so, yet she ultimately credits that change to the massage treatment.

  • Lucas, 36-year-old Victoria football league player. Started massage treatment mid-season to deal with issues with his groin and ankles due to the intensity of training and weekly games, he was able to perform through the season ultimately winning the premiership

  • Ab, 25-year-old boxer. During our first massage treatment sessions I learnt he's been getting massages every 1-3 weeks for the last few months for the same pain and tightness at the back of his left shoulder. After 3 massage treatments over a month coupled with 1 corrective exercise and a bit of coaching through little shifts in training, he now comes in for proactive monthly maintenance with the shoulder not even being an issue.

  • Warner, mid-40s,Plumber. Consistent back and groin pain. Initially, when he came in, he had oversensitivity. Even gentle soft tissue work was painful for him. After 6 hours of massage treatment time and 3 salt baths over 2 months we got to the point where the groin pain would disappear for weeks at a time with his back pain becoming non-existent after our second session.

  • Rish, early 50s builder with diabetes. Rishi came to me years after he modified his business in such a way he delegated all physical work as even that became a struggle. At the start of our second massage treatment, before he got onto the massage table, his eyes were gleaming with joy because as share with me for the first time, in 2 years, he's been able to walk down his stairs at home without struggle.

  • Joshua, a 30 year-old athletic individual. Consistent foot pain for the last 2 months after a casual basketball game. He saw 2 other professionals before me and only got temporary relief. As he had other areas of his body he wanted to be treated, over 2 weeks his foot only received 30 minutes of massage treatment which was still enough to get rid of the consistent pain. After 2 hours of treatment on his foot over 2 months, his foot pain was completely gone.

  • Brad, 40 year-old road construction, after almost 10 years of hip and lower back chronic pain and seeing 4 different physios and osteopaths, after 45 minutes of massage treatment his pain disappeared for a week and after 3 hours of treatment in total, the pain vanished. Combined with some basic advice on what could cause the agitation Brad reported to me living pain free 3 months after our treatments.
